Be aware of law enforcement training at the Epicenter.
PUBLIC ADVISORY: The Fort Bend County Regional SWAT Team will be conducting a training exercise on Thursday, June 18th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Fort Bend County Epicenter, located at 28505 Southwest Fwy, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
Residents and visitors in the area may notice an increased law enforcement presence, including Air Unit, emergency vehicles, and training-related activity throughout the exercise. This is only a planned training operation, and there is no threat to the public.
We appreciate the community’s understanding as our Regional SWAT Team continues to enhance its readiness and response capabilities to better serve and protect Fort Bend County.

This six-month academy program is designed to prepare future law enforcement professionals to become licensed Texas Peace Officers while earning a competitive salary throughout training.

Must be completed in under 16 minutes
Phase II – Nelson-Denny Reading Test
📚 The Nelson-Denny Test evaluates:
Vocabulary
Reading Comprehension
Reading Effectiveness
Candidates who successfully complete both testing phases will advance to the Academy application process.
PHYSICAL EVALUATION REQUIREMENT:
A completed Physical Evaluation is required before testing.
Prior to scheduling and attending entrance testing, applicants must:
Download the Physical Evaluation Form from the testing registration website.
Have the form completed and signed by a licensed physician.
Bring the completed form to their scheduled testing date.
Applicants will not be permitted to test without a completed and physician-signed Physical Evaluation Form.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER TESTING?
Candidates who successfully complete the testing process may advance to:

✔️ Oral Interview Process
✔️ Additional Selection Requirements
Qualified candidates will be considered for enrollment in Class #51, beginning August 24, 2026.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
