Van Buren County has been given the opportunity to share 4-H Community Impact Interns with Jefferson and Davis Counties this summer. The current deadline to apply is November 1. Please share this opportunity with anyone you feel could fit this role!
🍀 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY! 🍀
Are you a college student who enjoys working with kids, STEM, agriculture, or hands-on learning? Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Region 26 is looking for TWO Community Impact Interns to join us for summer 2027!
Interns will help bring exciting Iowa 4-H experiences to youth in Davis, Jefferson, and Van Buren Counties through hands-on STEM and agriculture day camps. This is a great opportunity to build professional experience in education, youth development, program planning, and community engagement while making a difference for local youth!

⏰ 12 weeks | Up to 40 hours/week

đź“Ť Programming in Davis, Jefferson, and Van Buren Counties
đźš— Mileage reimbursed for program-related travel
Who should apply?
College students who are dependable, enthusiastic, and interested in working with youth! Experience with 4-H, FFA, camps, classrooms, coaching, mentoring, STEM, agriculture, or other youth programs is a plus.
