Treasurer Zach Conine recently joined FOX5 Las Vegas to share how Nevada's 529 college savings plans can help families prepare for education costs. 🎓

A 529 plan works a lot like a retirement account, but for education. The money you contribute can grow tax-free, and you can use it for tuition, room and board, books, tutoring, and more — at four-year universities, community colleges, and graduate programs.

It's never too early to start. Treasurer Conine opened 529 accounts for all three of his children shortly after they were born, and notes that even small, consistent contributions can make a meaningful difference over time. 💙
