We have our Bradford pear bounty this weekend at the Arboretum!! We'll need to see a photo of the tree you have recently removed for you to claim a new native to replace it with. Limit one per household, while supplies last.

Don't forget to treat the stump with concentrated herbicides to prevent this tenacious tree from returning! Be quick because wasted time will reduce its efficacy. Glyphosate and triclopyr are commonly used at ~22%–44% active ingredient (1:1 or undiluted) but always read and follow the label!!! You can add the blue dye shown in the photo so you will recognize the stumps that you have already treated.

Please share with anyone who might need some extra incentive to get rid of a Bradford pear!
