THE GLAMOUR WAS LAST NIGHT. THE MISSION CONTINUED THIS MORNING.
The is still feeling ALL the emotions after our inaugural W**e Women & Shoes event!
We are overjoyed, overwhelmed with gratitude, and absolutely ecstatic to share that, thanks to this incredible community, we raised MORE THAN $250,000 to support our mission of providing hope, healing, and expert care to children impacted by abuse!
To our generous sponsors, fabulous guests, amazing vendors, and everyone who helped make our first W**e Women & Shoes an unforgettable success — THANK YOU for showing up, opening your hearts, and making a difference! Your generosity means more than you may ever know.
But today, we want to shine a little extra light on the people behind the magic.
That photo of our team all decked out and ready to welcome you? Don't let the fabulous outfits fool you! These incredible humans had already spent the day setting up the venue, transforming a space into an unforgettable experience. They greeted you with smiles, celebrated alongside you, and then stayed LONG after the evening ended to break everything down. Heels, tired feet, and all!
And while we were still celebrating the night's incredible results, we knew the work waiting for us this morning couldn't wait.
At 8 a.m. TODAY, every staff member was back on the scene, ready to tackle FIVE CASES scheduled between our two centers.
Because while the decorations come down, the auction items go home, and the beautiful memories linger, the needs of the children we serve don't pause for a celebration.
Children still need safe spaces. They need to be heard, believed, and treated with compassion. They need trained professionals who understand trauma, advocates who walk alongside their families, and a team committed to helping them begin the journey toward healing.
And THAT is why this work matters. đź’™
And please look at that incredible team from HoganTaylor! They graciously volunteered their time to unload, organize, and transport our event items, giving our staff the opportunity to focus on what matters most — the kiddos who needed us today.
Hogan Taylor, your generosity was more than helping hands; it was a beautiful reminder that when a community comes together, we can make room for more hope, more healing, and more care. We are SO grateful!
To our staff, volunteers, committee members, and every behind-the-scenes champion who gave your time, energy, talents, and heart: YOU are the magic behind the mission. The $250,000+ is extraordinary, but the impact it will make in the lives of children and families is what truly takes our breath away.
