Every student deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of. It was incredibly meaningful to attend Kaiser Permanente’s Project SEARCH Career Development Program graduation and celebrate this important achievement.
Project SEARCH gives young adults with developmental disabilities hands-on workforce training that helps them build skills, confidence, and career experience. These graduates went above and beyond, pushing through challenges and proving they are ready for what comes next.
Thank you to Kaiser Permanente, LAUSD, Tierra del Sol Foundation, North Los Angeles Regional Center, the families, educators, mentors, and everyone who helped make this program possible.

So proud to support the incredible seniors at Bert Corona Charter! 🎓🌊
We are thrilled to sponsor the bus for their senior trip to the beach today. These students have worked incredibly hard over the last four years, and they deserve a fun day in the sun to celebrate all their achievements before graduation.
Have a fantastic and safe trip, Class of 2026!

Measure ULA was approved by voters to invest in housing stability, homelessness prevention, and tenant protections.
As a a member of the Ad Hoc Committee on Measure ULA, I focused on building consensus to strengthen transparency, improve implementation, and make sure these resources reach Angelenos who need them most.
What’s next??
City Council will soon consider a set of recommendations of potential amendments to Measure ULA updates. .
We are not walking away from Measure ULA, but strengthening it, maximizing accountability, and making sure Los Angeles has every tool available to build affordable housing and prevent displacement.

This week, I joined a focus group with Latinx, Black, and POC independent filmmakers and storytellers to hear directly about the challenges they face creating and working in LA.
These conversations matter because keeping production local must also mean lowering barriers for diverse creators, working-class crews, and POC filmmakers whose stories preserve our culture and prevent erasure.
Thank you to , National Association of Latino Independent Producers, Ahuatl Amaro, and every filmmaker and storyteller who showed up, shared their experiences, and continues to fight for the future of Hollywood in Los Angeles.

I want to extend my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the historic Banning Residence Museum and the Wilmington community for their incredible hospitality.
It was a privilege to attend as a guest and join other community leaders in honoring our visiting service members. The beautiful venue and incredible hospitality during Fleet Week, made for a truly special celebration.
Thank you for bringing us all together to support the brave men and women of our Navy!
