NA’AMAT USA is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization with a mission to support our sister organization, NA'AMAT Israel in providing a vast network of educational and social service programs to enhance the quality of life for women, children and families in Israel.

The “Don’t Wait for This Flower” posters are still on display today at Meshanot, NA'AMAT's Center for Gender Equality.

Meshanot tells the story of our movement, from the pioneers to the present day. It’s also a home for conversations about gender equality and feminism in Israel. After the campaign appeared across Jerusalem in November 2024, the posters went on to be used in training sessions for teachers in the city, and were hung in government and public offices.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

“Don’t Wait for This Flower” is a poster campaign project from NA'AMAT, on display today at Meshanot, NA'AMAT's Jerusalem Center for Gender Equality. It puts the words of an abuser’s apology next to the warning sign hiding behind them: controlling your decisions, tracking where you go, taking control of your money, belittling you.

Swipe to see each poster in English, alongside the original Hebrew. Abuse doesn’t always leave a mark you can see, so knowing the signs matters. Flowers and gifts can’t hide the truth.

Israelis head to the polls on October 27, with 38 parties competing for the 120 seats in the Knesset. In “Five Scenarios for Israel’s Election,” Amichai Magen sets out five ways this election could end, from a stalemate that sends the country back to the polls to a broad unity government.
