Happening Now: Press Conference and Community Action in San Diego Port

PWC and Community Demands Restoration of 200 Revoked Visas for Filipino Seafarers and End to Wrongful Deportation

SAN DIEGO - Pilipino Workers Center and allies across Southern California holds an emergency community rally and press conference demanding that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stop the wrongful deportation of Filipino seafarers and immediately restore visas that have been unjustly revoked.

After more than 200 visas were reportedly canceled under these discriminatory practices, PWC and community members are calling for the immediate reinstatement of revoked visas and an end to unlawful and unjust deportations targeting Filipino seafarers.
