To our sponsors, community partners, speakers, performers, volunteers, vendors, and community members, thank you for making this celebration possible and for bringing our theme, "Reclaiming History," to life!

Together, we honored Larry Itliong's legacy, uplifted the contributions of Filipino farmworkers to the labor movement, and recognized how their fight for dignity, justice, and workers' rights still matters today.

Today, we honor Dolores Huerta, a trailblazing labor organizer whose courage and determination helped lead the fight for farmworkers’ rights, fair wages, and safe working conditions. As a woman who challenged powerful institutions and broke barriers in labor organizing, she reminds us that collective action and solidarity can create lasting change. At the Pilipino Workers Center, we carry forward her legacy by uplifting the voices of Filipino and immigrant workers, caregivers, and all those whose labor is too often unseen and undervalued. Rest in Power, Dolores Huerta! ✊🏾

ANNOUNCEMENT: The raid and arrest of alleged fraudulent voters in Commerce on Oct 19, has been circulating as representative of wide-spread voter fraud in California. While we decry any fraudulent voting activity, we also want to reiterate that we recognize the value of our constitutional rights and call for responsible voting within our community as emphasized in our Get Out to Vote initiatives through the years. That being said, individual allegations need to be investigated, and there needs to be an understanding of the context of these allegations amidst the elections that are days away. The administration has been verbalizing that the elections will be stolen and of voter fraud, ahead of the midterm elections, where interestingly, polls have been pointing towards loss of control by the President’s political party both in the House and the Senate.

We, at PWC, do not believe that individual allegations establish widespread voter fraud. We have full confidence in our system of elections and as we organize, educate and inform voters of their rights and responsibilities, we also encourage them to fully exercise them on their ballots. Malakas ang kumpiyansa namin sa halalan natin at huwag hayaan na mapigilan kayong bumoto. Kasama ninyo kami sa mga polling places. Ang kapangyarihan ay nasa boto ninyo!

Tayo na sa Larry Itliong Day Festival 2026! Bawiin natin ang ating kasaysayan sa isang masayang pagdiriwang ng Filipino American History Month at ng Larry Itliong Day sa Sabado, Oktubre 24, 2026, mula 10am hanggang 3pm sa Bresee Foundation Los Angeles!

Damhin ang buhay at laban ni Larry Itliong sa sining at pelikula, at musikang handog ng mga lokal na Pilipinong artista, mananayaw, mangaawit, at marami pang iba! Suportahan natin ang mga magsasakang Pilipino at mamili ng sariwang prutas at gulay mula sa kanila. Ibida ang paskong Pinoy sa parol-making workshop. Lasapin ang sarap ng pagkaing Pilipino. Mamangha sa sining na sariling atin. At siyempre, huwag kalimutan mag-selfie sa bahay kubo, tricycle at jeepney!
