Volunteer-driven, non-profit Westside Pacific Villages is a community of neighbors who support each other, especially our senior neighbors.

Vision:

Westside Pacific Village seeks to bring members of our community together in the spirit of collaboration, purpose and giving so that we may enhance the lives of many, and offer a sense of security and peace of mind to seniors, and their families, who have paved the way for all of us.

Meet WPV Volunteer, Kimberly!
"I joined WPV at the start of COVID, delivering food to clients in Culver City, since I used to live there. After taking care of both parents during their later stages of life, I realized that I had the patience and humor to help older adults feel needed and have "good times", so when a friend told me about WPV, I was eager to join. I enjoy supporting and encouraging others and finding out what makes them happy. I truly love listening to their rich life stories."
Thank you for sharing your experiences with WPV, Kimberly - we are grateful to have you on our team. đŸ„ł

Volunteer Katie Sherman generously donates her time each Monday to lead Villagers in a restorative meditation session. Participants love this time to relax and connect with each other, and showed their gratitude to her by gifting her a set of Tibetan singing meditation bowls before she heads off on a summer vacation to Europe!

Before she leaves, Katie will be offering a Yin Yoga stretching class next Wednesday May 27th from 12-1pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church - Los Angeles. This class is for WPV clients, friends and volunteers only. To join, contact [email protected] or call the Office. We hope to see you there!

WPV Volunteer Spotlight: Joan!
"I started volunteering with WPV in 2024, shortly after retiring. I had heard wonderful things about WPV from my husband, who had gotten to know WPV through his involvement in the Westchester Rotary Club. It seemed like a great way to volunteer my time and meet new people. I love the ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ philosophy behind WPV, as well as the flexibility of volunteering as a WPV driver. I have met so many fantastic Westchester neighbors over the past year thanks to WPV!" ♄
