With less than 5 days until Election Day in California, Women’s March Action joined women leaders from across Los Angeles for an urgent press conference denouncing Spencer Pratt’s use of AI-generated violent imagery targeting Mayor Karen Bass, the first woman and first woman of color elected Mayor of Los Angeles.

The use of AI to spread violent attacks against women in leadership is dangerous, misogynistic, and has no place in political campaigns. No woman should have to face threats, intimidation, or dehumanizing attacks simply for men to advance their own ambitions.

Women are powerful. Women are resilient. On June 2nd, we must show up and vote because the women and girls in our lives are watching.

Today, Women’s March Action and women leaders across Los Angeles are holding an urgent press conference condemning Spencer Pratt’s use of AI-generated violent imagery targeting Mayor Karen Bass, the first woman and first woman of color elected Mayor of Los Angeles.

Violence against women is not a joke. Normalizing violent rhetoric against women in politics is dangerous, irresponsible, and disqualifying for anyone seeking public office.

Press conference will be livestreamed on Instagram and Facebook.
