Diamond Hill family...
Benjamin Guggenheim was an American businessman and member of the immensely wealthy Guggenheim family, whose fortune was built on mining and metal smelting.
During the sinking of the Titanic, witnesses said he helped women and children into lifeboats before changing into formal evening clothes with his secretary, Victor Giglio.
He reportedly declared, "We've dressed up in our best and are prepared to go down like gentlemen," and asked that his wife be told, "I played the game straight to the end and that no woman was left on board this ship because Ben Guggenheim was a coward."
Survivors also recalled him calmly smoking a cigar and continuing to help load lifeboats until the very end.
His body was never recovered.
