We are excited to welcome Audi to Middle Georgia! 🎉 🚗

With approximately $4 billion in planned investment and 4,500 new jobs, Audi’s planned manufacturing facility in Peach County represents a significant opportunity for Middle Georgia’s workforce, businesses and communities.

As a member of the Mid-Georgia Gateway Joint Development Authority (MGGJDA), MBCIA is honored to contribute to this regional effort alongside our partners in Peach and Houston counties and the State of Georgia.

We're thankful for our partners in Peach County, Houston County, our local teams in Macon-Bibb County for believing and supporting in our mission. To the Georgia Department of Economic Development team, the state of Georgia, and so many other partners, we're forever grateful for your teamwork and guidance.

MBCIA is proud to be part of this regional partnership and to contribute our resources to a project of this magnitude. Its ripple effects will be felt across Middle Georgia, especially in Macon-Bibb County, creating lasting opportunities for our workforce, businesses and communities.

📈 Manufacturing jobs in Macon-Bibb County have grown 28% since 2015, adding more than 1,500 jobs between 2015 and 2025.

Today, our community is home to over 7,000 manufacturing jobs, reflecting the strength of our manufacturing sector and the continued investment in our local economy.

At MBCIA, we’re proud to support an environment where manufacturers can grow, create jobs, and build their future in Macon-Bibb County.

We’re proud to share that Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation has awarded $4,800 Unclaimed Capital Credit funds to the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority to support economic development in our community.
We’re grateful to Central Georgia EMC for this investment and their continued commitment to creating opportunities for growth in Macon-Bibb County!

We’re proud to share that Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation has awarded $9,600 in Unclaimed Capital Credit funds to support economic development in Macon-Bibb County!

These funds were presented to the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce and the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, reinforcing a shared commitment to growing opportunity and strengthening our local economy.

This partnership shows that collaboration is key to building momentum across Macon and growing the community, and we are thankful to be a part of this collaboration.
