Rutland High School showed up for Rep Your College Day! 🎓🧡💚

Our faculty and staff wore their college gear for GEAR UP Week, giving students a chance to see the many schools and paths represented right here at RHS. Thank you for sharing a piece of your journey with our scholars and helping them picture where their own path could lead!

Big things are happening for these Rutland High School scholars! 🎓👏

These students got an early start on their college journey by completing dual enrollment courses before even beginning high school.

Taking on college-level coursework over the summer required initiative, commitment, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zone. Their hard work deserves to be celebrated!

Congratulations to these scholars, and here’s to all that’s ahead. 🌟

Today’s GEAR UP Week Activity: A Letter to My Future Self!

Today, our students reflected on their goals, dreams, and the people they hope to become by writing letters to their future selves. They filled their letters with encouragement, advice, and promises to keep working toward a bright and successful future.

Their GEAR UP Graduation Advisor will keep the letters safe and return them during their senior year—giving students a chance to look back and see just how far they have come!

Keep believing, keep growing, and continue to LIGHT YOUR PATH TO GREATNESS!

To kick off Spirit Week, our students participated in a College Passport activity! 🎓

Students explored colleges, majors, and career pathways while completing their College Passports and learning more about their future opportunities.

We’re proud to partner with MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union to give our GEAR UP students an opportunity to build real-world financial knowledge and skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

Our students at Middle School participated in this financial literacy experience, learning about smart money management, saving, budgeting, financial decision-making, and planning for their future.
