NDEAM Spotlight & Inclusive Employer Award: Stop & Shop Manchester!❤🛒
As we enter the final week of October, we want to highlight a community partner that has stood by MARC, Inc. for decades.
This past Friday, MARC's President & CEO, Kevin Zingler, and Development Director, Sarah Ward, visited Manchester to present the team with our Inclusive Employer Award in celebration of NDEAM!
Meet Gabriel (Jr.) and Darrin, two hard-working members of the Stop & Shop team!!
Jr. helps collect shopping carts, keeps them clean, and supports other departments whenever needed. He constantly has a smile on his face and is always ready for his next task!
Darrin has been a part of the team for about 6 years now, assisting with carts, managing the bottle room, and helping elderly customers. Over the years, he's strengthened his communication skills, built relationships, and embraced a more active lifetyle.
Their job coach, Tim, has witnessed firsthand the growth of both individuals. He credits the staff and family-like atmosphere for making Stop & Shop a place of work where they can't wait to start their days.
Store Manager, Tarra, has worked alongside MARC individuals for most of her nearly 40-year career, reflecting the lasting value of this partnership! We are grateful to Tarra for creating and maintaining those meaningful relationships that make a difference.
