The Economic Development Council of South Miami-Dade is your Business Assistance and Resource Center.

The Council’s primary objective is to support the expansion and retention of existing businesses, to increase the overall economic vitality of our communities, and to attract new, diversified businesses and new jobs to the South Miami-Dade. The Council can assist your business with your expansion and or relocation needs.

Biscayne National Park’s Dante Fascell Visitor Center in Homestead offers exhibits and a starting point for discovering the park. Visitors can explore the shoreline area without taking a boat.

Reliable transportation expands access to jobs.

When commute times vary dramatically from one day to the next, workers have to plan around the worst-case trip - and some jobs simply become too difficult to reach consistently.

More reliable transit gives workers greater confidence in how long it will take to get to work and gives employers access to people across a wider area.

That’s one reason transportation infrastructure matters to South Dade’s workforce.
