MYPros (Midland Young Professionals), Midland Business Alliance Develop interpersonal skills that will enhance the careers of young professionals.

Purpose: Attract and retain talented young professionals by creating business opportunities, supporting community involvement and fostering an overall investment in the future of Midland. Vision: Provide personal and professional development opportunities that enrich the lives of young professionals, and improve Midland's business climate and quality of life. Midland's Young Professionals (MYPros) will hold events on average once per quarter in an effort to meet the following goals:

1. Provide social and business networking opportunities to promote member companies and/or businesses.

2. Enlist educational speakers and presenters on popular topics as recommended by network participants.

3. Attract professionals to Midland and serve recently relocated professionals by giving them access to a network of business people and friends.

4. Individuals interested in participating should be in the age range from 20's through early 40's. For more information on MYPros, please visit http://mbami.org/mypros/ online.

MYPros offers a variety of events, from casual networking to learning luncheons to our annual celebration—and through it all, we strive to offer something for every schedule!

So whether you’re a Friday coffee person, prefer a mid-week lunch or live for after-hours networking, we have something for you ☕️🍴🍻

BUT if you want to get the most networking in, you'll have to get up early! ⏰ Our PerkUps draw the most members each month, bringing young professionals together for coffee and conversation.

Can’t make it in person? Not a problem! We also have a private Facebook group exclusively for MYPros members, where you can connect digitally with other young professionals and make your own plans to meet up when you’re available 💻🤝

🎉 Congratulations to Kirsten Morey, our 2026 Stewardship Award recipient! 🎉

The Stewardship Award honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of one or more young professionals’ careers in Midland.

Through her involvement with service clubs and organizations throughout the community, Kirsten is always finding ways to lift others up. Whether she’s helping young professionals get involved in community service through Midland Morning Rotary, introducing them to new experiences through her work with the Cultural Awareness Coalition or simply making connections, Kirsten is always looking for ways to help others get involved and grow 💫

She’s also great at helping fellow young professionals connect with her employer, MyMichigan Health—whether they’re looking to learn more, find resources or make connections with one of the largest employers in our community.

Kirsten, thank you for your dedication to helping your fellow young professionals in Midland learn, grow and find their place in our community. We’re so proud to celebrate you! 🌟

🎉 Congratulations to Grant Murschel and Brad & Haley Tunney, our 2026 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award recipients! 🎉

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award honors an individual or business that has demonstrated success in building and operating a business right here in Midland—and Grant, Brad and Haley have certainly done that with Nord Social in Center City.

They’ve created a popular “Third Space” where people of all ages can gather, connect and enjoy time together. But Nord Social is more than just a place to grab a drink or spend an afternoon—it’s become a welcoming space that brings people together and adds to the vibrancy of our community💫

Grant, Brad and Haley are well known for their leadership, positivity and dedication to making Midland a more welcoming place for everyone. We’re so grateful for the energy and enthusiasm they bring to our community!

The Rising Star Award honors a young professional who demonstrates noteworthy professional achievements, leadership and a commitment to bettering Midland—and Elisa embodies all of these qualities 💫

Elisa is passionate about her work at the Midland County Treasurer’s Office and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone who walks through her doors leaves not only with a positive interaction, but feeling more informed, educated and confident about their next steps. She’s always willing to lend a helping hand and make sure people get the support they need.

She’s also a strong supporter of the MYPros program. Elisa is always up for trying something new and she’s often one of the first to jump in and volunteer when she can.

Elisa, thank you for the motivation, positivity and fun you bring to MYPros. We’re so excited to celebrate you and all that you bring to our community! 🌟
