Unfortunately, Hurricane Isaias left significant damage to our garden railroad. We are so grateful it wasn't worse, but we will be needing to remove large fallen trees, fix our fence, and repair or replace almost every G-scale building on the lot.
As a nonprofit, these repairs place significant strain on our finances. If you're able to help whether through donations or skill, please let us know. 🚂❤

This is a reminder that due to our hurricane cleanup closure our Fiddlin' in the Freight House Fundraiser is unfortunately cancelled for this evening. ☹️

10/14/2026

Due to damage from Hurricane Isaias the West Florida Railroad Museum will be closed for the next two weeks. This closure includes the Fiddlin' in the Freight House that was scheduled for this Saturday, October 17th, which will be rescheduled at a later date.

Our garden railroad with riding train received the most damage. At this time we are not sure as to when it will reopen.

Updates will be posted to this page as recovery efforts continue.

Since we sadly had to cancel Depot Days today due to the weather forecast, we will be combining our plans from today with our Military Family Appreciation Day celebration on November 7th! 🇺🇸 ❤ 😃
This will be an amazing fun-packed event!! We'll have military reenactors, the Blue Anchor Belles will be performing, some of our amazing vendors we missed out on today will be there, and we'll be joined by Pensacola Shakes & Smoothies!
We're sad to have missed an official Depot Days this year, but this event will be great!!
Come help us celebrate military families, whether you're part of one or just want to show support, we'd love to have you!
