We empower cadets to become leaders of character in the Air Force or Space Force. Interested?

Air Force ROTC Detachment 930 is an education program designed to give college students the opportunity to become United States Air Force officers while completing their degree. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Detachment 930 is home to students covering the campuses of Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, UW-Milwaukee, Alverno College, Carroll University, Carthage College, Concordia University Wisconsin, Mount Mary University, UW-Parkside, UW-Waukesha, Wisconsin Lutheran College and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Our program is designed to prepare students to assume positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in today's modern, high-technology Air Force. Experienced cadre and a well-trained staff will teach you what you need to know to become a successful officer the world's greatest Air Force. Happy Halloween!!

Det 930 celebrated the spooky season with a Detachment tradition: Halloween PT with team costumes! Our Cadets played Gatorball and competed for best team costume, as well as best individual costume, making lifelong memories as October comes to an end...

As ATF Commander, C/Lt Col Christman has taken on the mantle of overseeing all Cadet-led operations across the detachment.

This pilot-select has developed a leadership philosophy that encourages development, relying on the principles of learning, accountability, and performance to ensure every Cadet learns the skills necessary to become effective leaders in society.

Christman’s own journey to getting his pilot slot wasn’t simple. To be selected, he had to graduate field training, excel in his physical fitness, and score highly on the AFOQT, a standardized test all Cadets take, as well as the TBAS, a pilot candidate evaluation test.

Congratulations to Cadets Gibson, Rife & Latus for completing Field Training. Upon completion of Field Training, the cadets return as POC and will take on direct leadership roles within the detachment. Good work you three and we look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
