Hunger is one of the Lions' core causes, and it is one many know all too well.
Every week our club gathers food to give local families. So far this Lions year, that work has served roughly 775 people.
Quiet work. Real neighbors.

Don’t forget raffle tickets for our annual fundraiser are still available.

The fair is done, and we want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped at the gates, said hi, bought a raffle ticket, and cheered on this community all week long. It was good to see you.

R***e raffle tickets are still available for a short time. Please consider buying one. Proceeds help support the work we do in the community.

We will be back at it soon. Our next meeting is Thursday, November 5, 6:30 PM, at 804 Goodwill Street in Minden.

Last day at the fair. You know you want a funnel cake. Kids Day is today, 1 to 5 pm. Bring the kids out, let them ride. Stop by the American Legion or VFW booth and get something to eat. Buy a raffle ticket, or maybe 10. Say hi to a Lion at the gate. This is what it’s about, community. Folks leaving keep saying this fair is better than the last few years.

Come on out and have some fun! Don’t forget to stop and get a raffle ticket, or more.
