🧡 Happy Thursday, Yellowjackets! 🧡

Please join us in congratulating Mineola High School senior Kingston Straznicky on receiving Buzz’s Ultimate Effort Award at the Mineola ISD Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, October 19, 2026!

Kingston, a member of the Class of 2027, is already demonstrating an impressive entrepreneurial spirit while completing his high school diploma. He is the Founder and CEO of Frontier Vending, where he owns and manages eight vending machines throughout East Texas.

And he isn’t stopping there! Kingston also purchases and refurbishes trailers for private sale and is currently working toward earning his pilot’s license. ✈️

Kingston is a great example of setting goals, working hard, taking initiative, and pursuing opportunities beyond the classroom.

Congratulations, Kingston! We are proud of your hard work, ambition, and Ultimate Effort!

Woo hoo, we have a Champion for our Walkthrough Wednesday. We are proud to recognize an incredible art teacher who brings genuine love, authenticity, and creativity into her classroom every day! Her students recently explored Cubism through animal portraits, transforming their ideas into unique works of art. Beyond the artwork, what truly stands out is the way she connects with her students, encourages their individuality, and creates a classroom where every student feels valued and inspired.

Great teaching is an art, and she brings it to life every day!

Congratulations to Kingston Straznicky as being the district’s recipient of this months Buzz award. Kingston has a bright future as an Entrepreneur and is a champion in the hallway and the classroom.

Our Walkthrough Wednesday belt just arrived and we are pleased to honor Mrs. Machost as our first ever recipient.

Our Biology students are fortunate to have a teacher who makes learning meaningful, engaging, and fun! From hands-on activities to real-world connections, she brings science to life and creates an environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore, and grow. We appreciate the passion and dedication she brings to the classroom each day! She is our Walkthrough Champion of the week.
