🚨 In Case You Missed It 🚨

Each year, the amazing cafeteria team at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School puts on a theatrical production during the final lunch before Halloween. Our friends at WTVR CBS 6 News did an INCREDIBLE job capturing this incredible tradition!

Every year on the Friday before Halloween, the cafeteria staff at Moss-Nuckols Elementary School in Louisa puts on an original play inside the cafeteria as students eat their lunch. This year's production was "The Lunch Ladies and the Traveling Circus."

"School lunch should be a happy place for the kids because we don't know what some of the kids could go through at home, or have a bad day at school. So when they come here, they should be happy. This is their happy place."

🍠🌱 It’s one of our FAVORITE days of the year — Sweet Potato Harvesting Day!

Check out these photos from the Student Gardens at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School! Our Patriots had a BLAST getting their hands dirty and digging up this year’s crop of sweet potatoes! 😎👏

And here’s the REALLY cool part: these sweet potatoes will be cleaned, prepared, and served right in the TJES cafeteria in just a couple of weeks! 🍽️🍠

From the garden to the cafeteria — it doesn’t get much more hands-on than that! 🌱➡️🍽️

GREAT WORK, PATRIOTS! ❤️💙
