WHEN YOU PARK: Use a quality U-lock or heavy-duty chain lock. Lock the frame to a designated bike rack—not just the wheel. Secure scooters through the stem or another part that can’t easily be removed. Take removable items like lights, bags and helmets with you. Double-check that everything is secure before walking away.

WHEN YOU RIDE: Never let your lock hang loosely from your bike or scooter. Keep locks and loose straps away from wheels, spokes, pedals and brakes. Secure your lock tightly to the frame/stem, use its mounting bracket or carry it in a backpack or bag. Before taking off, make sure nothing can swing or fall into moving parts.

You can purchase a lock for your bike or scooter upstairs at Barnes & Noble!

We’re proud to share that Niche has ranked Mississippi State University No. 1 for Best College Dorms in Mississippi.

At MSU, we call them Residence Halls because they’re more than just a place to live. They’re where Bulldogs build relationships, find their community and create a home away from home.
