Dunkin is open!

Stopped by this morning to check out the newly renovated store, and they’re ready to serve you! Terrific job on the renovation, and I know so many people can’t wait to stop in!

Stop by, grab your favorite coffee and say hello! Welcome back to the Community of Caring!

A Busy Halloween Weekend in Morris Plains!

Our weekend kicked off with the Drug Take Back event at Stop & Shop.

It was a beautiful day to stroll through town, admire the Halloween window paintings created by our Borough School students, and enjoy the scarecrows lining our streets.

The gorgeous weather continued for our annual bonfire at Community Park, bringing our community together for a wonderful evening.

We wrapped up the weekend on this beautiful Sunday morning with the Strides for Education 5K!

What a fun-filled Halloween weekend in the Community of Caring! Thank you to everyone who helped organize these events and to all who came out to participate and support our community.

It was a pleasure meeting with students from Red Oaks School and their teacher, Ilana Radcliffe, to explain how our local Borough form of government works.

It’s always great to see students taking an interest in their local community and learning how local government serves its community!

It was a pleasure meeting with Syed Kazmi and his team from NJDOT, along with Chief Koroski, Sgt. Hochman, and Superintendent John Signorelli.

We discussed several ideas and potential solutions to help reduce confusion and congestion and improve traffic flow around the train station and the Route 202 and Franklin Avenue intersection.

This was a productive, in-person discussion about options NJDOT is willing to explore and potentially implement to address these ongoing concerns. I appreciate their willingness to listen, collaborate, and work toward solutions that will benefit our community.

Thank you to Syed Kazmi and his team for taking the time to meet with us and hear our concerns. We look forward to continuing these conversations and making progress.

As a member of The 200 Club, I am inviting you to come celebrate your first responders, socialize and have a bite to eat. Hope to see you there!

I will be announcing an upcoming event that evening.
