⭐️ICCAC STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MEET KYLE!⭐️
Meet Kyle Baker, our Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Director! 🌟
Let’s get to know Kyle a little better.
💙 How long have you been with ICCAC?
I joined ICCAC two years ago in 2024 as the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Director.
💙 What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part of being the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Director at ICCAC is knowing that the work we do makes a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. I love being able to educate children on how to recognize unsafe situations, understand their personal boundaries, and know who they can turn to for help. One of the most rewarding moments is seeing a child gain the confidence to speak up and advocate for themselves. I also enjoy building relationships with schools, families, and community partners who share our mission of keeping children safe. Knowing that our prevention efforts can help protect even one child from experiencing abuse or neglect makes everything we do worthwhile.
💙 Outside of your work day how do you serve your community?
Outside of my daily responsibilities, I stay actively involved in serving my community through my leadership of the Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Committee and my involvement with the Isabella County Substance Abuse Coalition. Through the CAN Committee, I bring together community partners to promote child abuse prevention, increase awareness, and strengthen resources available to children and families. As a member of the Isabella County Substance Abuse Coalition, I collaborate with local organizations and professionals to address substance misuse, promote prevention education, and support healthier families.
💙 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, especially making memories with my 8-month-old and husband. I enjoy camping in the U.P, golfing, shopping and enjoying time with my dogs.
