Flu Vaccine Availability and Policy Update:

Flu season is approaching, and influenza vaccines will soon be available at your local military treatment facility (MTF). If you prefer an off-base option, you may receive the vaccine at no out-of-pocket cost through TRICARE-authorized providers or participating network pharmacies.

Receiving the seasonal influenza vaccine is currently voluntary for the general population; however, vaccination remains mandatory for the following personnel:

- Deploying personnel
- Military Training (BMT) attendees
- Child & Youth Program (CYP) employees
- Air Force and Space Force technical training populations
- Designated MTF healthcare personnel and staff
