Memorial Day - 2026 Murfreesboro remembers the fallen

We are very excited and proud to congratulate Dr. Rosemary Thomas of Chowan University. We love our volunteers! We are looking for people who enjoy making new friends, want to make a difference in our community, and enjoy having a great time! We need volunteers to help with book sales at the Town of Murfreesboro - NC Volunteer Fire Department Pork Festival on May 30th, book sales at the Murfreesboro Juneteeth Festival on June 20th, and to help sell sodas and hot fudge cakes with ice cream at the NC Watermelon Festival July 29th - August 1st.
