We also operate three senior activity centers: Clarkstown/Pearl River, Ramapo and Nyack.

Meals on Wheels is a 501(c)(3) not for profit agency that provides hot nutritious, medically-tailored delivered meals to homebound Seniors throughout Rockland County and currently operates 3 senior activity centers. Meals on Wheels provides homebound meal delivery to any Rockland County resident who is shut in due to illness, physical handicap or advanced age and who cannot shop or cook for themselves. Programs funded in part by the Administration on Aging, New York State Office for the Aging, Rockland County Office for the Aging, donations, grants and fees. Meet Christina Torres-Gutfreund, the friendly voice on the other end of the line! ☎️

As our receptionist, Christina gets to connect with our clients every day, and she knows how meaningful that connection can be. Many of our clients don’t see anyone during the day, let alone speak to anyone, so sometimes Christina is the only person they talk to. Every call is a chance to remind them that someone cares.

🌶️ Spices of Life Food Drive 🌿

Share flavor. Nourish neighbors. Make every meal brighter.
Help stock local pantry shelves with the seasonings that turn simple ingredients into comforting, flavorful meals. Celebrate the spirit of holiday giving by helping neighbors bring warmth and flavor to their holiday tables. 🧡

This food drive is led by District 7210 Rockland Rotary and supports pantries that are part of the Rockland Community Against Hunger coalition. Staple food donations are also welcome!

What to donate:

🧂 Everyday spices: Achiote Powder, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Chili Powder, Cloves, Coriander, Cumin, Curry Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Salt, Turmeric, Cinnamon

🌿 Dried herbs & blends: Basil, Cilantro, Oregano, Parsley, Thyme, Rosemary, Bay Leaves, Adobo, Jerk Seasoning, Sazón, Salt-Free Seasoning Blends

Please donate unopened, factory-sealed items that are within their expiration date.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Cornucopia, our 8th Annual Fall Gala! From the cocktail party to the tableside dinners prepared by our incredible chefs, the evening was full of amazing food, great company, and so much generosity.

Every year, our Cornucopia honoree Donalee Berard brings her team from Berard & Associates to help us get ready for our Share a Piece of the Pie fundraiser. From assembling boxes to tackling our big mass mailing, they roll up their sleeves so we can spread the word and keep serving Rockland’s seniors.

Drivers wanted: help us keep our seniors on the move! 🚌💚

Our Senior Activity Centers are where friendships grow, laughter is loud, and aging is so cool. But none of it happens without the drivers who get our members there safely every day. We’re in urgent need of CDL-licensed drivers to join the Meals on Wheels Rockland team.

If you’ve got a CDL and a heart for your community, this is more than a job. It’s a chance to be the friendly face our members look forward to every morning.
