would you believe me if i told you there was exactly 15 minutes between the first image and the last?? ⁣

the way your oldest just naturally leads. ⁣

LETS DO A 🍂FALL UPDATE🍂!! ⁣

you don’t have to do your family photos in the fall but i think there’s some sweet reasons to. ⁣
⁣
the weather — it’s just so much more comfortable & you aren’t sweating your life away 🥹⁣
⁣
speaking of weather, the clothing — because of the different temps, you get to layer, accessorize, etc. and that allows for each family member to bring their own personality into each outfit! ⁣
⁣
the timing — if you need earlier, we can do that & still get really beautiful lighting & everyone is happyyyyy! ⁣
⁣
the golden goodness & colors — like come onnnnn. it’s just a really beautiful time of year 🥹⁣
⁣
life looks a little different in this season & i know it’s not always easy to get everyone together — but my encouragement is to see this as a family date night & invest your efforts into the memories (not the photos)! ⁣

when i asked her what she wanted to remember about this season 10 years from now, she said: ⁣

“just how little they all are ~ they seem big now since they’re all the oldest they’ve been yet... but I know that even in a year, I’ll see the photos and realize just how little they are.” ⁣
⁣
and that’s exactly what we documented. ⁣
⁣
the way they played. ⁣
how they ran all around. ⁣
how they giggled at silly things. ⁣
and the way they loved their momma & each other. ⁣
the way they used daddy like a jungle gym. ⁣
how they used sticks as wands. ⁣
and the way they look at the moon with their momma in awe. ⁣
⁣
all while in their backyard 🥹⁣
⁣
these days won’t ever get old for me — they just become more and more special!

it’s just all kind of amazing if you ask me 🥹

i can’t wait to see who will fill my calendar the rest of the year — it’s always such a gift, friends! it’s been 6.5 years since going full time and He has been faithful every day!
