Our first two Movies on the Lawn Events are in the bag. Our first night was a showing of Back To the Future and a celebration of the 1980s! The Kona Ice Truck came curtesy of Tim and Sarah Ford. Thank you so much! We LOVE Kona Ice. We had snacks galore and enjoyed the movie. The next night, was watching the movie Matilda. Again, lots of snacks --- hot dogs, nachos, pudding, popcorn, chips, etc. You name it, we had it. Some folks seem to prefer the snacks over the movie. But hey! As long as we had fun, we consider it a success! Can't wait for the next one!

Happy Nurses Appreciation Week to the best Nurses around. Thank you all for your amazing contributions to the people we support and the agency. We appreciate you all more than you could ever imagine. Keep doing a great job. Sincerely you Executive Director and MCH Family. ❤️

We had a great time at the Malco movie theater watching the Michael Jackson movie.... Who's bad 🎤 🎙 dancing 🕺 machine Billy Jean is not my lover. Everyone had a great time.

Happy Nurses Week, to the best Nurses around. Thanks to all of our MCH Nurses for taking great care of our people. I hope you all have a great week.

Just a few more pictures. We played for most of the day. Each cluster prepared a cheer and presented it. There was a lot of friendly competition. Awards were given out ---trophies to the clusters and medals to the participants. There were also lots of promises of "just wait until next year!"

Wednesday was our annual Mur-Ci Madness day. We played basketball, co****le, ring toss, a fishing game, wading pools and wrapped the day up with a vicious Tug Of War. There was music, snacks, and beverages (which were in high demand). Staff did a great job of including everyone in the activities and making sure everyone had a great time. This is our kick off event for the spring/summer seasons. Our next event is Movies on the Lawn in a couple of weeks. Watch for pictures!

A little late but here are some pictures from our Valentine Party this year. As always, the party involved food, good music, a few games, pictures and the election of the Valentine King and Queen. We had a bit of a slow start but soon, everyone was laughing and having a great time. Thank you to those who helped plan and carry off the event. I believe it is fair to say that a good time was had by all!

We continue to be fine at Mur-Ci Homes. It is amazing how much more positive you are when you have power. We are still surrounded by a lot of ice but our fearless maintenance crew and our good friend Claudette Morris have kept our staff coming in and getting home for the most part. It has been a long haul but we feel like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope you are all safe and warm

Mur-Ci Homes has power! We have had power for the last hour or so. We are grateful for our stuff who stuck it out with us!

Hey all! Mur-Ci Homes has been without power since about 6:30am this morning. We are hanging in there. We have generator power so we are able to cook and distribute hot food. Our staff have been great and working with us as we go pick them up and take them home. It is a laborious process but they have been incredibly patient. The clients are well and bundled up to stay warm. The outlet mall near us just got power back so maybe they will get to our area soon! In the meantime, we will carry on!!! But we are well and hanging in there! Stay safe
