📚✨ Once Upon a Time… at P.S. 201! ✨🍬

Our Storybook Character Parade was a magical celebration of books, imagination, and community! From our scholars and teachers dressed as their favorite storybook characters to the beautifully decorated classroom tables showcasing beloved books, our school was filled with creativity and smiles!

Our scholars had a wonderful time parading around the front of the building, showing off their costumes and enjoying special treats along the way. A huge thank you to our amazing families and staff for donating candy, decorating tables, volunteering to distribute treats, and joining in the fun by dressing up, too!

It takes a village to make special memories, and our P.S. 201 community truly brought this story to life! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a sweet success! Because at P.S. 201, every great story is even better when we celebrate it together! 📖💫

🚒❤️ P.S. 201 Q Visits Our Hometown Heroes!❤️🚒

Our 4th graders traded their classroom for a front-row seat to the incredible work of our FDNY heroes at Engine 274! From exploring the firehouse to learning about the bravery, teamwork, and dedication it takes to serve our community, this was a field trip to remember.

But perhaps the most meaningful moment came when one of our very own scholars shared a special message of gratitude. 🥹❤️

Because behind every fire truck are real-life heroes who show up when our community needs them most.

To our FDNY family, thank you for opening your doors, sharing your knowledge, and inspiring the next generation. You made a lasting impression on our scholars!

Little voices. BIG THANKS. ❤️🚒

💗 PINK IS MORE THAN A COLOR. IT’S A SYMBOL OF HOPE. 💗

On Wednesday, our school community wore pink to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and stand together in support of everyone affected by breast cancer.

Behind every pink ribbon is a story of strength, courage, love, and hope. On this day, our scholars and staff showed that even the smallest gestures can send a BIG message: You are not alone. 💕

One school. One community. Countless reasons to care. 🎀

💙💛 This is what makes P.S. 201 so special! 💛💙

At P.S. 201, our community is about so much more than a school building — it’s about the connections we make, the relationships we build, and the love we share with our families. ❤️

One of our wonderful PreK teachers recently showed that love in the by creating a personalized onesie with her Cricut machine to welcome her student’s new baby sister, into the world! 🍼💕 It’s a small gesture that speaks volumes about the heart of our school and the special bonds our teachers build with their students and families.

At P.S. 201, we celebrate one another, share in life’s special moments, and remind our families that they are always part of something bigger. Because it takes a village to raise a child, and we’re so proud to be part of this one! 🥰

✨ New school years, new adventures, same amazing community! ✨

🎨✨ P.S. 201 proudly unveiled its beautiful new mural, made possible through the support of QCA Network and Assembly Member Sam Berger!

The unveiling celebration brought together community leaders, including Costa Constantinides, Susan Agin (Executive Director of QCA Network), Principal Simpson, PTA representatives, district leadership, and, most importantly, our students.

This project was truly student-driven. After reviewing several artist proposals, our students selected the inspiring design created by artist Oleksandra Korolenko. The finished mural encourages imagination, creativity, and exploration while bringing vibrant color and joy to our school community.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this project a reality. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and see this magical work of art for yourself!
