When it comes to cardiac emergencies, minutes matter. ⏱️

National CPR & AED Awareness Week highlights the importance of quick action, awareness, and community preparedness. Caregivers and families are often first on the scene — and learning CPR can help empower people to respond with confidence.

Consider exploring a local CPR or first aid training in your community this summer. ❤️

At SNAP, we believe every older adult, caregiver, and community member deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are. 🌈

This Pride Month, we honor the strength, resilience, and stories of LGBTQ+ older adults and caregivers — and recognize the importance of creating spaces rooted in dignity, connection, and belonging.

Pride is not only a celebration of identity, but also a reminder that community care, compassion, and inclusion matter at every age. ❤️

Happy Pride Month from all of us at SNAP!

Your wellness “prescription” doesn’t require a gym—just a moment.

From a chair, you can move your body, support your health, and feel more connected.

Small, consistent actions—like stretching, breathing, and staying engaged—can make a meaningful difference over time.

💛 Move a little… live a lot.

Memorial Day is a time to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As we gather with loved ones, we also hold space for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.

Let’s take a moment to check in—no pressure, no judgment.

If your mind had a “station” today, what would it be tuned to?

Some days feel calm. Some feel scattered. Some feel like everything is turned all the way up.

Wherever you are today, it’s okay. Awareness is the first step.

Today’s forecast: SUN + PROTECTION ☀️

UV rays can damage your skin even when it doesn’t feel hot—or even when it’s cloudy.

This Skin Cancer Awareness Month, make SPF part of your daily routine.

Your future skin will thank you 💛

In many Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures, caregiving is deeply rooted in family, respect, and community 🌸

Care is often shared across generations—guided by values of honoring elders, staying connected, and showing up for one another in meaningful ways.

At SNAP, we recognize that caregiving looks different across cultures—but at its core, it is always grounded in compassion, resilience, and love.

This AAPI Heritage Month, we celebrate the diverse traditions that shape how we care for one another 💛

Sometimes the most important check-in isn’t on your schedule—it’s with yourself.

Pause for a moment today.
Take a breath.
Notice how you’re really feeling.

💙 At SNAP, we’re here to support not just physical health, but emotional well-being—for caregivers and older adults alike.

Every second counts when it comes to a stroke.

Knowing the signs—Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 911—can make all the difference.

Whether you’re a caregiver, family member, or friend, being prepared means being able to act quickly in an emergency.

💙 SNAP is here to support you with resources, education, and community every step of the way.

Care creates a ripple effect 💛

One small act can lead to something bigger—
a sense of safety,
a moment of trust,
a foundation for growth.

These moments may seem small,
but their impact reaches further than we realize.
