We spend the entire year planning for these eight weeks, intentionally crafting activities that allow us to seamlessly embed social-emotional learning into fun, everyday camp experiences.
To the kids, it simply feels like a joyful, exciting summer - while they’re building critical social skills without even realizing it.

A lot of kids don’t struggle with talking
They struggle with knowing what to say next
Staying in a conversation requires:
processing what was said, coming up with a related response, and holding the topic
So when you see:
• walking away
• quick topic changes
• repeating the same idea
It’s often not disinterest
It’s a missing step
Try this at home:
After your child responds, prompt
“Tell me one more thing about that”
It gives them a clear, doable next move💙
