Busy people are one of the best Board members. Thank you Kathryn Hisel for your continued support of the Foundation. You have been with the Board for at least ten years at the same time running a remarkable business. Thank you for your time and dedication for the students. Congratulations on this honor the three of you have built right here in North Platte.

We are honored to announce that Integrated Power has been named the North Platte Chamber & Development Business of the Year! 🏆

This recognition is a true reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our incredible team. We are proud of the company we have built and grateful for the employees, customers, and community who have supported us along the way.

Thank you to the North Platte Area Chamber & Development Corporation for this incredible honor. We are proud to call North Platte home and look forward to continuing to grow and build on our success for years to come!

Local business story with Katelyn Sperle (NPHS Alum) and her husband Josh Sperle (previously a judge for Dancing With the Local Stars). They are doing great things that impact more than NP. They also are raising future NPHS alumni!

🇺🇸 BULLDOG ALUMNI — HELP HONOR NORTH PLATTE HISTORY NOW! 🇺🇸

Calling all NPHS alumni—especially those in Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico, and beyond! What state are you from? Please share, time is of the essence if this doesn’t happen in November they have to start over.

During World War II, the North Platte Canteen welcomed more than 6 million service members passing through our community. Thousands of volunteers served sandwiches, coffee, birthday cakes, and compassion to strangers in uniform.

Their message was simple: gratitude, kindness, and the best of Nebraska hospitality. ❤️

Now, the North Platte Canteen Congressional Gold Medal Act seeks national recognition for these extraordinary volunteers.

Take action today: Contact your U.S. representatives. Share the Canteen’s story, explain its connection to North Platte, and urge them to support or learn more about the legislation.

Together, we can honor the citizens—including young people—whose volunteerism, generosity, and unity supported our service members and inspired generations.

Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog—wherever you call home! 💙🐾

We are so close; let's make this happen!

We only need 31 more co-sponsors to send this on to the president for his signature. What better way to thank the 125 communities that built morale among our troops during World War II than to award them the Congressional Gold Medal.

From 1941-1946 the troop trains were met everyday here in North Platte by volunteers with food, coffee, smiles and more. These volunteers did all this while their gas, tires, and food were rationed.
