🚒 THANK YOU, RUSSELL TOWNSHIP! ❤️

Our 75th Anniversary Open House was a tremendous success! Thank you to all the families, friends, and neighbors who came out to celebrate with us. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, meet new neighbors, and have the opportunity to connect with the people we’re proud to serve.

We’re grateful to our community partners who helped make the day special:

🚁 AirMed for bringing their helicopter and showcasing the vital role air medical transport plays in lifesaving care.

🚒 Fire Department for bringing their ladder truck and highlighting the teamwork between neighboring departments.

⛑️ Geauga County Public Safety Drone Team for demonstrating the capabilities and important uses of drones in the fire service.

🏠 for bringing the Fire Safety House and helping educate kids about fire safety.

❤️ Hospitals Community Outreach for sharing health and safety information and raising awareness of valuable community resources.

🍔 at The Bus Stop for providing great food throughout the day.

A special thank you to our own members who went above and beyond to plan and bring this event to life. Your hard work and dedication made this celebration possible!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone memorable and for being part of 75 years of service to Russell Township and our surrounding communities.

Here’s to 75 years and many more to come! 🚒❤️

🔥 OHIO OPEN BURNING REMINDER 🔥

With fall here, we strongly encourage everyone to avoid outdoor burning altogether. Dry leaves, brush, and windy conditions can cause fires to spread quickly and put homes and property at risk.

🚫 Ohio restricts open burning between 6 AM and 6 PM during October and November. Please follow all state and local regulations.
