✨ Dolly Day is coming! ✨

On September 25, we’re celebrating Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library!

Did you know the Friends of the O’Fallon Public Library help support the Imagination Library right here in our community? Their support helps local children receive a free, age-appropriate book delivered to their home every month.

Want to learn more about the Imagination Library in our area or support the Friends in making this possible?

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, but you don’t need a new library card to join the fun! 💛📚

Whether you’ve had your O’Fallon Public Library card for 20 years or you’re finally ready to get your first one, we’re celebrating all the ways library cards connect our community.

This September:

🏡 Show your library pride. Pick up a free Library People Live Here yard sign and let the neighborhood know where you stand.

🎁 New to the library? The first 100 people to sign up for a new card will get a special goodie bag.

📚 Already have a card? Use it! Use your library card during September and you could be entered to win one of our end-of-month prize packs.

There’s plenty more to discover, too. See all the details and find out how to participate at:

📚 Help Support Your Library — Adopt-a-Shelf!

The Friends of the O’Fallon Public Library are excited to bring back the Adopt-a-Shelf Program and are looking for volunteers to help keep our library organized, welcoming, and accessible for all patrons.

Volunteers are asked to commit to an average of two (2) hours per week and will be assigned a section of the library to care for.

Tasks include:
📚 Arranging books in the correct order
🧹 Dusting and cleaning shelves
✨ Helping keep the collection neat and inviting

No experience is necessary—training will be provided.

Whether you're a regular library visitor, a student looking for service opportunities, or simply someone who loves books, we'd love to have you participate.

📞 To learn more or sign up, stop by the front desk or call 618-632-3783 and leave your name and phone number. Ann or Diane will contact you.

Thank you for supporting the O’Fallon Public Library!
