OSPOA President Kevin McCullough provided the closing keynote speech for the National League of Cities conference in Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Kevin reflected on his firsthand experience responding to the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Through personal experiences and lessons learned, he emphasized the importance of relationships, cooperation, community resilience, and caring for those who serve. His message highlighted how tragedy can strengthen our commitment to one another and inspire continued service. Above all, the keynote reinforced that public service is not defined by a single moment, but by a lifelong commitment to showing up, serving others, and making a difference.
