The only thing scarier than Michael Myers is forgetting to vote! 🇺🇸

Early voting is open tonight until 8 PM and continues Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM at Oxford Town Hall.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, polls will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM at Quaker Farms School.

Also note that, besides voting for candidates, the ballot includes a question regarding the 2026 Charter Revision:

“Shall the Town of Oxford adopt the proposed 2026 Charter Revision as approved in accordance with Title 7, Chapter 99 of the Connecticut General Statutes?”

Attending the debate and the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) Convention, connecting with fellow leaders and discussing the issues that matter to our communities and the future of Connecticut.

🇺🇸 As a community, let’s come together to recognize and thank the brave men and women who have served our nation, along with our active military and first responders.

Everyone is invited to join Oxford High School and the American Legion for the “Salute to Service” Veterans Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 11, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. in the OHS gymnasium. Enjoy student musical tributes, a presentation of colors, and remarks from guest veterans.

Following the ceremony, veterans and their families are invited to a light luncheon in the cafeteria.

Let’s show our gratitude and remind those who serve that Oxford appreciates, honors, and stands together with them. 🇺🇸

This past Sunday, I had the honor of joining the Seymour Fish & Game Club as they celebrated an incredible milestone — 100 years!

Congratulations to the members, past and present, who have made this organization such an important part of our community through conservation, outdoor education, and community service.

Thank you for including me and Arnie. It was a privilege to celebrate this special milestone with you.
