We explored "junk journaling" for our first Paper Craft Club meeting this rainy Saturday. Please join us for the next one on June 6th and then every other Saturday. This club is a great place to bring your own projects or use materials provided to create something new with paper!

Philippine folk music performance by the Philippine Folks Arts Society today at 3:30PM at Northeast Regional Library!

Thank you to the everyone who attended our “Growing Successful Tomatoes”, part of our Gardening from Around the World series. Special thanks to Master Gardener instructor, Sandy Grimwade. We learned about the tomato’s origin, seed starting, growing requirements, favorite varieties, growing timetables, planting tips, growing tips, support, pruning, troubleshooting, and harvesting.

Then, we planted tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers in the Northeast Regional Library Community Garden!

We planted the following varieties:
- Tomatoes: “Early Girl Hybrid”, “Sweetie”, “Black Krim”,

“Cherokee Purple”.
- Eggplants: “Black Beauty”, “Larger Purple Early”,
- Peppers: “California Wonder”, “Chinese Giant”

Come and ask about our Community Garden. In a few weeks, we'll be harvesting the garlic we planted last fall.
