Thank you to the and teams for bringing together an extraordinary community at TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures yesterday. The conversations, the connections, and the shared commitment to what comes next for this country reminded us why this work matters.
In that spirit, here are a few more words from our President & CEO, Louis King II and some behind-the-scenes moments from yesterday.
We can't wait to share more with you (soon!).

Tomorrow is a BIG day.
Saturday, June 13th, our President & CEO Louis King II takes the stage to speak at TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures, a landmark event celebrating America's 250th Anniversary.
It's fitting that this pivotal moment takes place in Philadelphia.
The city where American democracy was born, and where OIC of America has been building pathways to opportunity for 60+ years.
At a historic moment when our nation is reflecting on its past and envisioning its future, Louis will carry forward Rev. Sullivan's enduring legacy: that every person deserves access to education, skills training, and meaningful employment.
From Philadelphia, where OIC was founded, to communities across the country, OIC continues to prove that opportunity changes lives.

Curiosity today. Careers tomorrow. π₯Όπ¬π§ͺππποΈ
Thank you, Twin Cities for filling Maturi Pavilion with curiosity, energy, and joy. Hundreds of students and families spent their Saturday at battling robots, conducting experiments, testing out technologies, having fun and discovering that a future in STEM isn't something far away. It's something they can reach out and touch.
To every young person who tried something new, asked a big question, or saw themselves in a scientist or engineer for the first time: that spark is exactly why we do this. ππ½π₯°π«Άπ½
To our incredible STEMLinx team: thank you for bringing the Twin Cities together in such a powerful way!
A heartfelt thank you goes to our presenting sponsor , co-hosts and at the , Tech Kids and of course to the exhibitors, volunteers, educators, and STEM professionals who gave their time to open doors for the next generation.

Still thinking about Dallas. ποΈ
Last week, OIC of America had the honor of serving as Diamond Discovery Sponsor of the Build the Workforce Summit at DEC RedBird. The event featured an amazing lineup of industry, education, and community leaders convened by PRAXIS Strategic Consulting and Turner Construction to open career pathways into America's construction workforce.
Our President & CEO, Louis King II, joined two featured panels: Construction Workforce & Economic Mobility (moderated by Asheya Warren) and Pathways to Work Now (moderated by Carmen Gaines) that explored how the industry can connect more people in our communities to careers that build long-term economic mobility. North Texas is growing fast, the construction workforce gap is widening, and the talent to close it already lives in our communities. We're dedicated to connecting them.
Thank you, Dallas. The work continues.
