Ururka SAJEM waxaa si adag oo aan leexleexad lahayn u qaadacay iyo cambaareyneynaa hab‑maamuuskii iyo natiijadii doorashadii Golaha Deegaanka ee Gobolka Banadir ee dhacday 25 Diseembar 2025, taas oo si cad uga reebtay beelaha Jareerweyne iyo Somali Bantu iyo qaar kale badan ka qaybgalka awood‑qeybsiga siyaasadeed.

Dukumiintiyada rasmiga ah ee la shaaciyay waxay muujinayaan in kuraasta 390 ee la qaybiyay aan hal kursi lagu darin matalaad rasmi ah oo beelahan ah, taas oo ah ku tumasho cad oo ka dhan ah xuquuqda muwaadiniinta Soomaaliyeed.

Somali Advocacy for Justice and Equality Movement - SAJEM , we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our OWN Brother, Hussein Sein Ali on the successful completion of his Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University.

This remarkable achievement is not only a personal triumph but also a source of pride and inspiration for the Somali diaspora and our brothers and sisters in Somalia. Hussein’s journey reminds us that education has no age limit, it is never too early and never too late to pursue knowledge. What matters most is the courage to begin, the discipline to continue, and the vision to complete the journey.

In today’s world, where technology shapes the future of nations, Hussein’s specialization in cybersecurity stands as a powerful example of how Somali professionals can contribute to global innovation, security, and progress. His success demonstrates that with determination, resilience, and faith, we can break barriers and rise to new heights.

To the younger generations: let Hussein’s accomplishment be a beacon. Strive for excellence, embrace education, and remember that every step you take in learning strengthens not only your future but also the future of our community.

To the Somali diaspora and those in Somalia: let us continue to invest in knowledge, for it is the most enduring wealth we can pass on to generations.

We celebrate Hussein today, and through him, we celebrate the limitless potential of our people. May Allah (SWT) bless his path and grant him success in his career and service to humanity.

In unity and pride with SAJEM!

SAJEM Welcomes East African Court of Justice Ruling on Somalia’s EALA Representatives

The Somali Advocacy for Justice and Equality Movement (SAJEM) warmly welcomes the recent decision by the East African Court of Justice (EACJ) rejecting the swearing-in of the nine individuals who were selected to represent Somalia in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).

These nine nominees were originally chosen through a deeply flawed and non-transparent process that did not reflect fairness, merit, or the diversity of the Somali population. The selection heavily favored a limited group of families and clans, failing to represent the broad social, cultural, and political fabric of the Somali people.

SAJEM views this ruling as an important step toward safeguarding justice, equality, and inclusive participation in regional governance. We call on the Federal Government of Somalia to ensure that any future nomination process is transparent, equitable, and reflective of the nation’s true diversity.

SAJEM remains committed to advocating for accountable governance, fair representation, and the protection of marginalized communities across Somalia.

Today, the Chairman of the Somali Advocacy for Justice and Equality Movement (SAJEM), Abdirahman Iftin, met with Senator Jeanne Shaheen, a ranking member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, to address the ongoing human rights abuses, land dispossession, systemic injustices, inequality, and political disenfranchisement affecting marginalized communities in Somalia, particularly the Somali Bantu and Jareerweyne ethnic groups.

This meeting underscores SAJEM’s continued commitment to advocating for justice, equal representation, and the protection of fundamental rights for all Somali communities. We extend our appreciation to Senator Shaheen for her leadership and willingness to engage on these urgent issues impacting vulnerable populations.

The Somali Advocacy for Justice and Equality Movement (SAJEM) proudly congratulates Our own brother Iman Osman on his election to the Lewiston City Council, Ward 5.

This victory is not only a personal milestone, but also a powerful moment for our community. Brother Iman’s success marks a historic breakthrough for Somali Bantus and all Somali-Americans in Maine, especially for those from communities that have long faced social, political, and economic marginalization. His journey to public office is a testament to resilience, civic engagement, and the enduring pursuit of justice.

We pray that Allah (SWT) grants you wisdom, strength, and compassion as you serve the people of Lewiston. May your leadership be fruitful, inclusive, and rooted in the values of equity and dignity.

SAJEM stands in solidarity with you and celebrates this achievement as a beacon of hope for Somali communities across the United States and beyond.

In unity and celebration,
Somali Advocacy for Justice and Equality Movement (SAJEM).

BAYAAN: Xuska Shirka Carta Waa Astaan Madow oo Wali Lagu Tacaalayo.

Ururka SAJEM wuxuu si cad u muujinayaa in xuska 25-guurada Shirka Carta ee ka socda dalka Jabuuti uu dib u furayo xasuus xanuun badan oo ku saabsan waayo madow oo weli bulshada Soomaaliyeed ay la tacaalayso.

Shirka Carta ee dhacay sanadkii 2000 wuxuu dhidibada u taagay kala-goyn qaran iyo isir-kala-sooc bulsheed, taasoo lagu duray laguna liiday qowmiyado iyo qabaa’ilo Soomaaliyeed. Nidaamka 4.5 ee lagu hirgeliyay shirkaas wuxuu sharciyeyn u sameeyay in dad Soomaaliyeed nus laga aqoonsado bani’aadamnimadooda iyo Soomaalinimadooda.

Dadka maanta u dabaaldegaya xuska Carta waa kuwo aan si buuxda u fahmin taariikhda madow ee laga dhaxlay, ama ay raalli ka yihiin natiijadii horseeday in dad Soomaaliyeed lagu liido oo loo aqoonsado “Soomaali nus ah.”
