The Town of Pinetop-Lakeside is a small community in northeastern Arizona that provides a variety of attractions. We have many festivals, artistic shows and fairs during our perfect weathered summers. Fall is gorgeous...a short ride up the mountain will provide one with an unmeasurable scenic adventure. Our winters include snow and we are the main lodging area for snowboarders and skiers alike on their way to Sunrise Ski Resort. Spring in our Town is robust. There is absolutely nothing like the crisp, clean air that surrounds our community; brought down from the plentiful ponderosa pines, spread across the small lakes, rivers and streams. We have a variety of shops and merchants in our Town; for a very unique shopping experience.

FLOOD SAFETY REMINDER: STAY CLEAR OF POWER POLES

Navopache Electric Cooperative crews have been working hard throughout this storm to respond to weather-related challenges and keep our community safe.

Please do your part to help keep yourself and utility crews safe.

Flooding can weaken and destabilize the ground surrounding power poles, creating potentially dangerous conditions. Stay away from power poles in areas that have experienced flooding, even after the water has receded.

Never approach downed power lines or damaged poles, and always assume power lines are energized.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our Navopache Electric crews as they continue responding to the impacts of this storm.

PLEASE limit water use as much as you can
(Flushing, Showers, Laundry, Dishwashers)
to ease the strain on the system and help prevent more backups.
Stay out of flood water, which may be contaminated with sewage and can hide open manholes
Keep kids and pets away, and check on your neighbors.

Pinetop-Lakeside Sanitary District is flooded and backed up, and officials say this is the worst flooding that we have seen in recent history.

Employees are working as hard as they can with pump stations and the plant but are unable to get in or out of the facility and operations are at a standstill.

As a results, manhole covers are popping up all over and some homes are reporting sewage backing up into the house along with water damage.

PLEASE limit water use as much as you can
(Flushing, Showers, Laundry, Dishwashers)
to ease the strain on the system and help prevent more backups.

We will share updates as soon as we have them
