Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects both children and adults.
It is more than difficulty focusing; it can also show up as impulsivity, restlessness, or trouble with organization and follow-through.

What you can do:

-Learn the signs and talk with a healthcare provider if you have concerns about yourself or your child
-Use trusted sources like your doctor for accurate information
-Support the people in your life with patience and understanding

Support and treatment, including behavioral therapy and medication, can make a big difference.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Early detection saves lives. Talk with your healthcare provider about when to start screening mammograms and how often you should have them, especially if you have a family history of breast cancer.

The Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) at our Siler City clinic helps Chatham County women with no health insurance or limited screening coverage, and who do not have Medicaid or Medicare Part B, receive the screenings and follow-up care they need at little or no cost.
