Guided by experienced facilitators, participants will share stories and experiences that will be woven into an original, collaborative song. The retreat will also include art-based programs and mindfulness activities focused on relaxation, self-expression, and overall well-being.

Move your body - Get your heart rate up or stretch it out. Try a short walk, dance shake it out, do some push-ups, or a quick stretch. Movement helps release stress and boost your mood.

Cool yourself down - Use cold water (splash your face, hold an ice cube, or a cold drink), step outside for fresh air, or place a cool cloth on your neck or wrists. Cooling your body can help calm your mind and slow your stress response.

Ground yourself - Bring your attention to the present moment. Use your senses: name 5 things you can see, 4 you can feel, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell and 1 you can taste. You can also try feeling your feet on the floor or noticing something around you.

Be creative - Expressing yourself can be incredibly soothing. Try drawing, writing, listening to music, photography, making something with your hands, or any activity that lets you be you.

Connect with Someone - Reach out to a friend, family member, teacher or someone you trust.
Have a chat, share how you're feeling, or just spend time together. Support and connection can make a big difference.
