What does it look like when a community shows up for its neighbors? Last night, it looked like Dancing for Life. 💙🪩
Electric performances, a crowd full of enthusiasm, and generosity that reached far beyond the dance floor made for an unforgettable evening benefiting the Maddiwar House of Hope Homeless Shelter.
The Floyd County Chamber of Commerce thanks EVERYONE who helped make it possible: the organizers, dancers, choreographers, costume creators, photographers, production crews, volunteers, sponsors, and every person who bought a ticket, cast a vote, donated, or cheered from the audience. From months of rehearsals to the last behind-the-scenes detail, your time, talent, and heart made this evening shine.
Congratulations to the winning couples and every performer who stepped onto that stage for a cause bigger than themselves. You gave us plenty to applaud—and even more to be proud of.
This is the power of showing up. Neighbors supporting neighbors, building friendships, and turning an evening of entertainment into hope for people who need it.
Thank you for reminding us what this community can do together. đź’™
We’re especially proud of our Chamber board members Jennifer Horsley, who brought Cinderella to life alongside her Prince Charming, and Dr. Todd Brand, who partnered with Katherine Adams for a wonderful Phantom of the Opera performance! Along with their careers and service on our board, they make time to lend their talents to causes that strengthen our community. We’re lucky to have them! 💙
