🎃 FRIDAY SAFETY REMINDER | Halloween Is Almost Here! 👻
Tomorrow night, our streets will be filled with little superheroes, princesses, ghosts, and goblins. Let’s make sure everyone gets home safely with their treats!
A few reminders for a safe Halloween in Princeton:
🚶 For pedestrians and trick-or-treaters:
* Use sidewalks whenever available.
* Cross at intersections and designated crosswalks.
* Look both ways, even on familiar streets.
* Carry a flashlight or wear reflective gear.
* Stay alert and avoid distractions.
🚴 For cyclists:
* Use front and rear lights.
* Wear reflective clothing.
* Follow traffic signs and signals.
* Be extra aware of children who may dart into the street.
🚗 For drivers:
* Slow down, especially in residential neighborhoods.
* Watch carefully at intersections and crosswalks.
* Expect children to be unpredictable.
* Put your phone away and stay focused.
🧡 A little extra patience goes a long way.
Whether you’re handing out candy, walking with the kids, riding your bike, or simply heading home, let’s all do our part to keep Princeton safe.
Have a fun, happy, and SAFE Halloween!
