It’s been a busy past four days for the Putnam Valley Volunteer Fire Department, with multiple motor vehicle incidents keeping our members on the go.

Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, and all members returned safely to their respective stations without further incident.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers, both Fire Department and Ambulance, for their continued commitment to serving and protecting our community!

A big thank you to the Mahopac Fire Department and its members who brought over their ladder truck. Your support made it possible for us to finish the window setup on our new building — we’re grateful for our community partners!

The Putnam Valley Fire Department hosted Fire Prevention Week Events at the Elementary School and local Day Care Centers. All the kids received packages with coloring books, crayons, and fire hats.

It was great to see the kids that attended this event - they were able to sit inside the fire trucks, see the many different types of tools that can be found on those trucks and talk to the firefighters.

The Putnam Valley Fire Department would like "Thank" everyone who came out to support this event, and we hope all enjoyed the day and learned about Fire Prevention.
