Our 7th-grade students were able to take part in the annual Indy Fuel Education day today. Love that we are able to do this with our kids!

More amazing things that NP students are doing. Keep up the great work Cougars!

Semester 1 MakerSpace has been working on educational tools this semester. Students researched standards for K-2, brainstormed, designed via Tinkercad, sent designs to Bainbridge and Roachdale teachers for feedback and constructive assistance. After gaining feedback students revised designs, then we began the 3D print task which again resulted in additional edits to designs. After final prints, instructions and packaging, the students were able to deliver their items to Bainbridge today for future use by K-2 students and teachers. Bainbridge now has more dice options, letter and number tracers, counting boards to help with tactile math instruction, reading guides, and consonant blend spinners just to name a few. Thank you Mrs. Ramsey for letting us come today. This project is truly a STEM/MakerSpace student lead project based learning opportunity from start to finish. We are excited to see what second semester students design for our Roachdale delivery next semester. North Putnam Middle School
