Standing with Our Immigrant Communities
The County of Monterey stands in solidarity with the Latino Caucus of California Counties in supporting immigrant families and communities across our County and throughout California who are impacted by ongoing federal immigration enforcement activities.
We recognize the fear, uncertainty, and hardship these actions can bring to individuals, families, and our broader communities. We encourage community leaders to advocate for the well-being of all residents and ensure that the voices and concerns of those impacted are heard with compassion, dignity and respect.
We remain committed to a community where everyone is treated with humanity, and where concerns are expressed and heard peacefully and compassionately.
