The Salisbury Mills Fire District encompasses thirty square miles and provides Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services to approximately ten thousand residents in the Towns of Blooming Grove, Cornwall and New Windsor, New York. The Department is comprised of two fire companies including the Salisbury Mills Fire Company and the Mountain Lodge Fire Company. In a typical year our department responds to over three-hundred calls for service while keeping the safety and well being of our members and community as our utmost priority.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to support another great year at our Annual Haunted Firehouse fundraiser event. Thank you for supporting us, having fun and for all the kind words. We love putting on this event for everyone and are already looking forward to next year. Big Shout out as well to our Volunteers, Friends and Family who worked all week to get the event set up from start to finish. We would not be able to put on this event without you. We also want to thank Hudson Valley Ghostbusters, Inc. and iscream! We are so glad you guys were able to join us and had a great time yourselves. We hope to have you back for 2027!

Hello Community. It seems our original lawn sign over by stop and shop in Washingtonville has disappeared. It has been replaced with a spare. But if anyone has seen it or know where it is we ask if you can return it. These are new signs for our event and they will be reused every year. Thank you.

Who is ready for our Annual Haunted Firehouse! Your volunteers are going to be working very hard in the next few days to transform our firehouse into another frightfully fun experience for all our community guests. We are 100% Volunteer and this is a great, inexpensive fundraiser event for all; only $10 for Adults & $5 for kids 10 and under! We have Hudson Valley Ghostbusters, Inc. joining us on Friday 10.23 and iscream Ice Cream all 3 days of our event. We also extended our "Kids Hour" to 2 hours (5-pm-7pm) on Saturday 10.24 to accommodate the free shuttle running from Witchingtonville After Dark: Darkness Returns to our Annual Haunted Firehouse and back from 4pm-11pm on Saturday. Check out the graphic for more info, but stops will be at the Middle School, Main Street and the Station Rd. Plaza (parking in the rear). We are looking forward to seeing new and old faces so come on down for some spook-tacular fun!
