Yesterday marked another exciting milestone for the future of Saluda County as community leaders and stakeholders gathered at Piedmont Technical College’s Saluda campus to celebrate the progress of the new Center For Manufacturing Excellence.

The ceremony also recognized an extraordinary $350,000 contribution from The Charlie Foundation of Saluda County, whose generosity will help bring this important educational facility closer to completion.

This investment represents far more than bricks, mortar and equipment. It represents opportunity, economic growth and a commitment to preparing our young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to build successful, self-sufficient futures. When members of our own community invest so generously in the next generation, they demonstrate a powerful belief in the potential of our students and the future of Saluda County. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Charlie Foundation, Piedmont Technical College and all those whose vision and dedication continue to open doors for generations to come.

This is what it means to invest in our community, believe in our young people and build a stronger tomorrow together.
